During the busy summer season of 1991, Dennis said to me "Would you like to try doing some of the sewing for the store?" Dennis and Greg had opened their Wheat Ridge CO based whitewater equipment store in 1985 and things were GROWING! I thought to myself - I've made a few things - an apron - a jacket - a skirt - "Sure - I'd love to sew for the store! I can make straps and throw bags and drop bags and floors and d-rings and footcones and ...and...and....." The rest is history!
I am proud to be entering my 20th year in the business of producing quality sewn products for the rafting, floating and fishing industries! But, rest assured that I know we owe our success to you, our loyal customers.
Our philosophy has remained the same through these 19 years, and that philosophy is certainly a carry-over from those early years of development at Down River Equipment: Produce and sell only top quality gear, and provide REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE!
